  • Cant get them to stop billing me

    By huntmommy2007
The app worked great for a week.... I did the monthly purchase payment and had to pay for both kids phones... Therebwas no sharing option because I couldn't view everything unless I purchased the app on the others child phone.... Now I still can't see everything again... When I email them they can't help me because they can't see the screenshot I sent them. Also I keep asking them to stop billing me and of course they say they can't find my account under any email address I give them.... But they sure can find my account to bill me!
  • this app cases a lot of distrust :(

this app as well as life360 has caused so much problems in my families life. i’m a 15 year old girl, i don’t send nudes i’m not like that kinda kid, i never did anything wrong for my mother to track me with this app. but one day she put this, screentime, & life360 to my phone. all of it is just ridiculous. teenage years are supposed to be the best years of your life. these apps just invade your privacy like 100%. most people say “oh teens don’t need privacy” YES WE DO. everyone needs privacy and not just when you go to the bathroom. these apps ruin teen years. most of us kids aren’t gonna be like our parents and make mistakes like they did. i didn’t even get a chance to make mistakes, i more than likely wouldn’t have anyways. study shows that kids who made mistakes and learned from them have had a more successful life than kids who’s parents shoved rules down their throats and never even had a chance to learn a lesson. i just feel like these apps make kids feel like parents don’t trust us. we are kids, we are gonna make mistakes. we aren’t picture perfect paintings that never do anything wrong. let us live our lives and be teens.
  • This is restricting

    By Tmacklikeaboss
Hi my mom used this app on me and it was probably one of the worst things I could ever use. She could see every text and every app. It’s practically stalking but for parents to know their kids every move. This is not as bad as life 360 but it makes your kids feel trapped and secluded. I had no privacy with this and it made me want to rebel. PARENTS!!!! Just to let you know using this may cause your kid to rebel and feel unwanted or feel restricted on life and become very sad and depressed!
  • User ripped off.

Ever since the iPhone latest iOS upgrades the program can no longer function as intended. The provider doesn’t want you to know this as they ask for a year-long subscription but don’t address the matter that it won’t work as advertised. Bottom line, don’t but this App as ITS JUST A WAY TO TAKE YOUR $$.

  • Text Monitoring that Actually Works

    By Tevin Stanton
We tried mspy (a total scam) and webwatcher (which also doesn’t work). But then a friend of ours told us about SaferKid. It works really well. My ex-husband and I have joint custody of our daughter, and we can both log in to the same account on our phones and see her text history, web history, phone contacts, etc. It doesn’t have her phone call history (not available for iPhones, apparently), but we can see that from Verizon (and she doesn’t seem to call anyone but us anyway). SaferKid is really helpful. My ex and I have a good relationship, but we both work and are busy and this lets us both see more of what’s going on and then we only have to talk about anything that seems like it might be an issue. SaferKid also helps us understand the apps she is using. We don’t think she should get to try anything she wants (she’s only 11!), and we like understanding what she’s exploring so we can put limits in place and also talk to her about it. If you are looking for a good solution, definitely try SaferKid. My only complaint is that setup can be a little time consuming. They do have email support, and when we emailed and had a setup issue they did a phone call with us to help with the setup. The woman who helped us with very nice, very helpful and very knowledgeable. It’s a great service!
  • Our Daughter’s Soccer Coach Was a Registered Sexx Offender!

    By Aletha Zieme
I have been needing to write this review for a long time. I am so grateful for SaferKid. I got it just to keep an eye on my daughter’s texts. I know kids can bully each other and be mean, and I wanted to know if there was anything we needed to do. One of the things I noticed was a lot of text messages between her and her soccer coach. They weren’t just practice times or texts to the whole team. They were just between the two of them. They were inside jokes and too personal for a coach. And it just felt weird that he was talking to her that much. She’s 12. I talked to my husband about it, and we both felt that something was off. So, we reached out to the school. We made it clear that we didn’t want to be causing a problem, but something just felt off. Well, it turns out, they hadn’t done the required background checks, and HE WAS A REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER! They fired him, and they fired the person who failed to do the background check. Nothing happened, for which I thank Jesus every day. But it’s so obvious that he was trying to build a relationship with her to try to take advantage of her. I do not know what I would have done if that had happened. As a parent, getting this was maybe the best choice we ever made. I cannot recommend it highly enough! If you get one app to protect your kids, it should be SaferKid.
