  • Don’t get this app, it’s a scam....

    By Saotran52
This is a total scam. Why do I have to pay $30 for a yearly membership? Usual yearly memberships cost around $15-$25. I believe that swift playgrounds is better and it is free, no membership needed. EVEN CODE.ORG IS BETTER. 1000+ courses, no membership. $30 for a yearly is a total waste. Tynker is better, you can share projects with people, make your own code blocks, and GUESS WHAT? Their yearly member ship is around $15! Yearly! Do you see this? They are not money hogs while you are. I mean, Why can you only do like 3 courses with a free membership? I mean, the people who don’t get memberships would never GET THIS! I do not recommend this for the people don’t buy a lot of memberships, or don’t pay for or don’t pay a lot for in-app purchases. You see this mimo? All other coding apps have no or cheap memberships, and here you are with $30 with a yearly membership. I would like to see you not be money hogs and change the membership to around $20-$15. Unless you do change the price, I will never use Mimo and I will never recommend this to my friends. This is a total money stealer and no one should use it. Reason why I rated 2 stars is because it is easy to understand, but there are not enough courses to learn to at least to make a website. I would give this 5 stars if you would add more courses to free players and change the price. Again, this is a total scam and no one should use it. Mimo, do you not care about your reviews!?

Anyone who can afford the annual payment should take advantage of this great opportunity to learn how to code. It will help advance you in life and achievement and thinking.
  • Kind of sucked

    By RogCTam
Has great UI and UX to do it, doesn’t allow you to move ahead on lessons without going step by step; which that alone killed the app and made it feel like a ripoff. Secondly, they’re missing lots of lessons on the things that matter; react, JS.. all dated lessons. I reached out too and they never responded. Fk this app

This app is decent for if you want to learn the very basics of coding, but there are much better assets to use on the internet. This app will give you some basic knowledge of the language, and for you to pay a weekly subscription to do anything more advanced. You have to pay to do basically anything significant, even writing and viewing your own code (which you can do with a free program on your computer). I’d recommend getting this app to get started with coding, then move to something better like YouTube tutorials and websites.

  • Excellent App!

So it get some bugs if your internet fails (don’t know if they can fix that, maybe make it offline mode) The way they make you code is easy and fun, I would suggest to make another mode where we receive less tips, because is important to let the student think more to resolve a problem it makes us more creative and independent. Anyway thank you guys for the amazing app and make a bit less expensive >.< so more ppl can enjoy (try to make in others tongues too).
  • Takeaway

I worked extremely hard for the progress i have gained in the six plus languages that i have studied over the last two years. When someone behind the scenes that barely knows one thinks that I’m behind the curve on learning, I would encourage that person to devote the time and effort i have to this study before voicing you opinion on everything i have worked for. I didn’t get through the course by coasting. I actually learned the material, for multiple languages. Don’t hold me to a standard that you were never able to achieve. You’re not even on my level.
