Description

FlightReady helps you prepare for the FAA exam by testing your knowledge against a question bank of over 400 questions, including questions from the official FAA question bank. We offer two apps to prepare for the Remote Pilot exam: ◗ Remote Pilot Test Prep (this app) - Test prep questions only ◗ Remote Pilot Ground School - Complete training course plus test prep questions This app (Test Prep) is for those who are familiar with drone operations and the relevant FAA regulations. It does not include any training content other than explanations for each answer. If you are new to drone flying, we suggest our Remote Pilot Ground School app, which includes ten hours of lesson content. ◖◖PRACTICE EXAMS◗◗ Over 370 questions covering all subject areas listed in the FAA's Airmen Certification Standards for Remote Pilot. Use Study Mode to create question sessions based on topics, session size, and your overall mastery. Filters allow you to include or exclude questions that require the use of figures or an E6B. Use Exam Mode to take simulated FAA exams administered in a timed environment under the same rules as the real FAA exam ◖◖REPORTS AND STATISTICS◗◗ Gauge your progress and identify weak areas. Create and send reports of your exam history to anyone. ◖◖SAMPLE LESSONS ◗◗ This app includes three free sample lessons from the complete ground school course, and you can upgrade to the complete ground school course at any time via in-app purchase. ◖◖RECURRENT TRAINING◗◗ You will be able to use this app to prepare for the recurrent exam required every two years. The question bank for the recurrent exam will be released no later than June 2018. ◖◖OTHER FEATURES◗◗ Subject matter is categorized into discrete topics, enabling focused study sessions and better insight into weak areas. Explanations consisting of text, graphic, applicable regulation, or a combination thereof. Multi-tasking support allows you to use FlightReady side by side with any FAA references and your favorite E6B app Proficiency is tracked using a proprietary algorithm that assigns a mastery level to each question. Figures and charts are presented in the same screen so that you can view both the question and the figure. Quickly create new sessions from missed questions, or review missed questions and explanations. Swipe left in the question view to reveal question list showing progress, marked questions, and more. ◖◖SUBJECT MATTER COVERED ▸ Airspace ▸ Emergency Procedures ▸ Human Factors ▸ Loading ▸ Maintenance ▸ Operations ▸ Performance ▸ Pilot Certification ▸ Regulations ▸ Weather Services ▸ Weather Theory FAQS Will FlightReady teach me everything I need to know to pass the exam? FlightReady is primarily a test preparation app, and not a complete ab initio ground school. However, many of our users have succesfully prepared for the FAA exam by simply answering questions and reviewing incorrect answers. Because we provide full explanations to all questions (and the full text of any applicable regulations), it is possible to learn the material by completing study sessions. We do recommend using our app in conjunction with the learning resources used by the FAA in creating the question bank, which may be downloaded here. How will I know that I'm ready to take the FAA knowledge test? Your goal should be to score at least a 90 on three consecutive practice exams. Another indicator that you are ready is a mastery graph showing most questions as mastered or nearly mastered

  • Great Tool But You Still Must Learn

I passed the FAA test with a 98 today. This app covered all the concepts except 1 (which I guessed and missed, and nothing I used covered it). If you are scoring high on this app over 5 to 10 exams and to the point where you are acing it in under 30 minutes, then you are almost ready to go crush the test. Keep studying the various guides on all the cloud types and implications. Spend extra time studying the test supplement sectionals and look for places where work at different heights and towers might put you into controlled airspace. Don’t expect a great number of questions to be the exact same, but they will be the same concepts. This app is great at grooving your swing, but you MUST understand and be able to explain to yourself WHY you got a question right or wrong. DO NOT go into your FAA test with this or any app expecting to memorize answer and hoping to see lots of the exact same questions. This app is great at showing you what to learn, but you still have to do the learning.
  • Buy their Remote Pilot Ground School app instead

I purchased this and realized I needed the Remote Pilot Ground School app that has all the study guides. I completed all the courses, took the practice exams, and ended up scoring a 95 on the FAA Part 107 Exam. Totally worth the money! I had to do a little research on Airspace outside of the app, but putting in the time with these courses is what made me master the material.
  • Passed 85% - Great way to prepare for drone exam!

Passed with an 85%! I Highly recommend this app! Great prep material, great interface, motivating. Lets you get a good sense of your progress. Updated regularly. I spent about 12 hours reviewing material on Flight Ready and taking their tests, making notes on what I missed and retaking the tests. Also watched Tony Northrup’s YouTube study prep 2 times through. Made some flash cards and did a few runs-throughs of missed concepts and I was ready to take the exam in two weeks. Worth the purchase!

Great App! Very well put together and comprehensive. Having completed this and reviewing the FAA website, I was well prepared for my test! Would highly recommend it

Most people think that because they are good at tests, they can walk in and take any multiple choice test and pass. Not the faa part 107...... Do yourself a favor and get the ground school as well. Maybe half of the test had questions from this app, and the other half are newer questions I haven’t seen before in any study guide. Thanks to flightready, I passed with a solid 88%. Strongly recommended for those that don’t want to waste $150 every time you fail.
  • FIX THE LATEST UPDATE

I have a iPhone 7 Plus and have been running the app fine since I bought it last week. This latest update has a bug where once I open the practice exam, it quits the app. But not just that, but to the point where I have to delete the app and redownload it just to even go back INTO the app. Fix it!!!!!!!!

Do yourself a favor and buy this app. It will save you so much frustration and time. Very well put together and it’s updated regularly.
  • $30 doesn’t give you access to the full app.

I assumed paying for the app would give you access to all the material, but they require you to pay $20 on top of that to access the most important parts. The app was glitchy as well, and I regularly had problems viewing the test questions.
  • Essential to prepare for Remote Pilot Test

I used the Test Prep extensively in preparing for the FAA Remote Pilot Exam and passed with flying colors. The Test Prep app is 5-star as it gives detailed explanations on questions missed. The app support is also 5-star service. Ed was quick to respond to my questions on the new update. If you have any worry about not passing the remote pilot test and having to pay $150 to retake, I strongly recommend you purchase this app to prepare.
