I’ve had nothing but problems since I installed Norton Security and Norton Secure VPN on my iPhone and iPad. On my iPhone it dumps my internet connection, I’m in my house using my router, telling me I’m using an invalid password for the router. My iPhone has been working properly for years, prior to the Norton installation, using the router. On my iPad it’s even worse. It’s blocking my access to the internet, again I’m in my house using my router, and it tells me I’m using an invalid password for the router. Logging onto an application that requires internet access is futile. I’m calling Norton to try to resolve these issues.
  • Poor functioning app

I have to turn the app off to use certain web sites which is a royal pain. When I’m away from my WiFi it shuts itself off especially on my iPhone. Bottom line, is it worth the $80 bucks/yr to constantly ditz with this app that can’t work properly, probably not. If they want my money then perfect the app so you never have to think about it!

  • Does not connect

After setting up to protect 5 devices, I downloaded the app on my phone. I accepted the terms and hit continue. Put my email and password in and hit continue. That’s where progress stopped. Just this continuous circle goes on and on until it cannot reach server. Tried a few times. They got $7.99 plus tax out of me, but that’s it. Cancelled subscription due to not being able to even connect for protection. I cannot comment on how the product works as I never got a chance to try it. Save your money and find another VPN service.

I like the app as it is a little more protection included with my norton subscription. You can easily turn on VPN or off when if you like while on a secure network. It shows on phone that VPN is on at top left of your phone. Have not had a problem with the App after 1 week

  • Locks up my internet connection

I installed the vpn app on my iPhone and iPad. When I started using one or the other in the morning, around 10 a.m. EDT or so (after a few hours of connection?), it completely disables my internet connection. I do not have vpn on my PC but it gets disabled on WiFi like the i’s. I have to turn off my router and modem (not sure and don’t care if both need to be) to get my internet back. Everything has been fine since I stopped using Norton vpn. I haven’t been able to try it on other WiFi connections but I upgraded to use when I travel infrequently. I tried to start vpn in Norton 360 on my pc (W7 pro.) but thankfully it doesn’t want to run. Fix this mess or get out of the vpn market. I am starting to wonder if those pcmatic ads are true ...
