  • Nice software, neds a bit more detail on documentation

    By JABR
I recently installed this software on Mac OS Catalina to run an older version of OSX since some of my 16-bit applications do not run any longer. For my purposes, and I aimgine for most people's pruposes, where I have to use files between the two operating systems, it is important to know how to share directories/disks and how to share applications. It was a bit difficult to figure that out. So I think Parallels could add some more detail on how to do that realizing it is at the core of why people buy Parallels
  • Works smoothly

    By Phlash_riot
Installed Windows 10 as well as Ubuntu, Fedora, and Arch Linux. Havent tried windows 10 gaming yet. This version(so far just the trial) only allows: - 8GB of system memory access of the 32GB present. - 2GB of video RAM access of the 8GB availble. VMs run smoothly even when located on USB 3.0 HDD. Be nice if the had a month to month option as I only need this for about a month for school project. Plethra of options and abilities to explore and easy, very easy to use. Much easier than other VM mangers I have used. Fitting of MAC software in that it is easy to use, intuitive interfaces, and bridges the gaps with such feaures as allow access to you MAC documents so you dont ahve to have multipe copies of hte same files across your MacOS and the Windows 10 VM.
  • $80 annual subscription and it is crippled AFTER purchase!

    By TiminCR
How about this for a support tip: Tell people before *purchasing* the App Store version of your product (an annual subscription of $79.99) that it comes completely crippled missing most of the features that makes Parallels any better than freeware like VirtualBox; once you finally figure out why features, like Coherence mode, you expect to be included aren't you head over to order the 'upgrade' to the actually functioning version of the product, where you agree to a more expensive subscription than the one on the app store and pay the $10 difference, but oh wait, it gets better, you have to wait potentially in excess of 2 hours for a $10 payment to process to be granted access to the fully functional version of the software that you already probably had invested a couple of hours into installing and expected in the first place. You couldn't make the purchase experience any more infuriating if you tried.
  • Great Program

    By Payne M.
The program is great operates just fine. I enjoy the ease of being able to switch between IOS and WIndows without having to restart my computer the only downfall is the price. I'd rather pay a one time fee and get a genuine copy of windows instead of paying a annual subscrtion and no genuine copy of windows.

can get this dumb app to connect to wifi
  • Useless for GPU performance

    By Not-Mozart
Does not have OpenGL support in the NVIDIA Geforce GT 750M drivers for Linux. So unfortunatly the whole purpose of using Linux to avoid Mac depriciating OpenGL/OpenCL for 3D rendering is undermined by the lack of support in the driver too. From what I have read this is true for Windows graphics card drivers in Parallels as well.
