  • Paid version wouldn't extract audio from a 74 second video

    By mikecohn
What a joke. I attempted to convert a 74-second (2.1gb) file. The free version said I needed to upgrade so I did for $5. And then it said my file was still too big. So beware--you can't really use this program. I normally don't complain when apps aren't very good but this crappy app could have compared the known file size and told me not to upgrade. What a complete ripoff.

No Comment - don't waste time downloading doesn't do anything. But charges you a monthly fee if you want a good recording.
  • makes you pay but works well enough

  • it works...but...

Maybe its just because im still in the free trial, i can only convert one file at a time rather than being able to set up a queue. not the end of the world but there is room for improvement

  • Pretty good!

Easy to use with no problems so far. It would be better if it allowed batch conversions.

  • Works for my simple needs

I have used this app about 12 tiems now and it has worked well for me. I am not very tech savvy so I ask very little of it - just convert a file now and then from wma tp mp3 and i have been pleased.

    Does exactly what it says.
  • Should be free. Any money paid is a ripoff

Two things really bother me about this app: 1) No multifile conversion, instead you have to upload and convert one at a time. I have several albums of FLAC files that I want to convert to MP3 but using this app, which I thought would do the job, would just be a waste of my time. 2) It doesn’t keep the last file’s settings. So despite me having to upload every file manually, wait for it to convert and do it all over again, I have to correctly choose the file type I want to convert it to every time. It just feels like I could be more efficient if I manually opened the binary file and converted it to the appropriate file format myself. On top of all this, it begs you to post a review after every 4 conversions. This app feels like something someone made for CS school as a project. All they did was the bare minimum to check the boxes for the project’s grading criteria and that’s it. Could be so much better but sadly it’s just a very poor app that does the same thing that many websites do for free.
