  • Worst Converter Ever - Waste of money!!

Takes forever, only does one file at a time, converts not to the original file bit depth and sample rate but to a reduced one, asks for a review after every conversion and no way to disengage that (for the first several conversions), and doesn't save the chosen format so you have to re-choose it each time. Screen saver interupts it, causing an error, so you have to start over again. WHAT A TERRIBLE WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!

Because the SmoothMobile File Converter was a complete waste of my money, I was hoping that the SmoothMobile Audio Converter would work bettrer for converting my .aiff to mp3. One again, all I did was throw money down the SmoothMobile Toilet. It also didn't work. It is very slow at trying to ramp up, then after many long minutes, it just gives an error message, just like the 1st app and quits converting. This not A "Smooth" App. It is a CrappyMobile App. I got as much pleasure from this App as I would if I was in a hurry to go somewhere, then went out to find that I had 4 flat tires on my car.

The app is ok, but needs to have a place/instructions to cancel the subscription or you will be paying forever.
  • Paid version wouldn't extract audio from a 74 second video

What a joke. I attempted to convert a 74-second (2.1gb) file. The free version said I needed to upgrade so I did for $5. And then it said my file was still too big. So beware--you can't really use this program. I normally don't complain when apps aren't very good but this crappy app could have compared the known file size and told me not to upgrade. What a complete ripoff.

No Comment - don't waste time downloading doesn't do anything. But charges you a monthly fee if you want a good recording.
  • makes you pay but works well enough
