  • Email problem?

I had this app a little while ago but then I deleted it because I just got busy and lost interest. But I can’t remember my username or password so when I go to put in my email and reset my password, it says it’s sent the email but I never get it.
  • Not many options

I love Radish. I don’t have a problem with the coins part, that doesn’t bother me because there are tons of free books as there are paid books. The thing that is irksome is the limited way you can look up books. I enjoy the options but for someone who is not really a big sexual reader fan, it is hard to find a story WITHOUT sex in it. I know that mostly because of the writers, but can’t there be an option that’s PG-13 or just a button with no mature books. If that could be looked into the app would have my 5 stars!

Radish is an amazing app to use for reading, although they don’t give you the chance to get free coins, I still think it’s a great way to support your fave authors!
  • No in-app reviews & expiration of $ makes it frustrating

The system for paying is needlessly complicated and user-unfriendly with the stars (in-app $) expiring after either a week or a month, which may not line up with the release schedule of the story you want. I hadn’t figured that out when I first bought stars, but I figured I’d use this as an excuse to check out other authors! But it’s a TOTAL crapshoot on quality, since all you can see are the # of times a story has been accessed, and nothing else. Some may be good, but I’m not interested in doing a lot of digging to sift them out from the masses. Worth downloading if there’s an author you know you like, but only buy the smallest # of stars you need.
  • Coin loss....

I had 6 coins and was waiting to use them until the story I was reading was updated and I went to use them today and they were gone..... I’ve seen some people say they disappear after a certain time which I believe is unfair because I don’t always have time to read or I have to wait for my author to update.....
  • Don’t get conned!! Total scam!

If you think a book sounds good, look for it on amazon first. I paid $36 for 3 books of a series, waiting patiently for one chapter at a time, only to find out that the entire six book series is available in full on amazon for $28.95. Not only that, the published books are only 20 or so chapters, but the authors break them up so you always have a cliffhanger waiting for the next post. I’ve spoken to authors who have stopped posting to Radish because it is the Radish team telling them to do this to make more money.
  • Lacks a community

I love radish. I think the stories are great and often worth the price. You get higher quality writing than you might on similar apps, for a fairly small price. My biggest complaint is the lack of a community. Sure, there are the occasional “radish lives” but I really wish there was more of a commenting system. Sometimes the best part about reading a story is getting to see other people’s reactions! And when I’m waiting for the next update, all I really want to do is TALK about it, so it would be great for Radish to create a more accessible form of communication for readers.
  • Used to love the app, now I barely touch the app.

Starting off first, I’m very happy they fixed the chapters starting at the very end and you having to scroll all the way to the top and accidentally spoiling the chapter. The app runs really smooth, I always get really awesome recommendations that I usually end up enjoying! But the prices are too high. When I first started using the app, which was almost two years ago when they launched, I was so excited to see my favorite authors join a platform where they get paid for their amazing work! And it was so cheap! I could get almost 200 coins for $9.99. Now I have to pay $19.99 for 182 coins, that’s a $10 difference! So I tried the auto-refilling monthly plan, 200 coins for $9.99 and while I decided to do this, Radish had a promotion, read these stories and you’ll get 150 coins. So I read and read, use probably 300+ coins (my monthly plan + coin packages I had to buy to pay for the books to get the 150 coins) and on the last day I tried to finish up the last few chapters I needed to read and the promotion was gone entirely. I couldn’t find it anywhere. So I wasted all those coins and my own money for nothing other than some ordinary books that really weren’t that interesting but I pushed through it for some free coins that I never received and I’m not the only person this has happened to. That left a bad taste in my mouth, I still continue to use the app; not as frequent as I used to because the prices are so ridiculous now and almost every book you have to pay for, 3 coins per chapter really adds up.
  • Love the app, but have some suggestions.

I love this app. Great stories, great authors, and love the new live feature. However, I have a suggestion. I think the app should have an updates calendar. It can be hard to know when the next update of a book will be, if there was a list, or a calendar saying when books in your library would be updated, it would be much easier to plan time to read them and also easier to know when to participate in Lives with your favorite authors. If there was a list, saying that these books are at these times on this day, and other books on other days, it would be a great feature! Thank you!
  • Great app but...

with the new update, every time you click to go the the next chapter it takes you to the very bottom and you have to scroll all the way to the beginning.
