Great app that I use every time I’m looking for a recipe or need a shopping list. Incredibly easy to add recipes and love how my mother’s handwritten recipes are preserved!
  • The app I have been searching for - finally!

Finally! The app I have been looking for to manage my recipes and meal planning. The key feature of this app that others lack is the ability to create recipes from photos. Love love love this feature! And it still has the ability to import web recipes, and create tags, and create a meal plan. Kudos to the developers. I can finally combine my recipe archive (currently in Evernote) with online recipes and my white board I’ve been using for meal planning each week. There is also a grocery list feature, which is cool though I will probably not use it because my husband is trained on another grocery list app.
  • Where has this been all my life?

I would love to rate this 5 stars because it is a great app but their pricing seems to be all over the place. And while yes, they warn you that you can only store 20 recipes for free, they are not upfront about their prices. I wouldn’t have wasted my time if I knew it cost $40 for the lifetime package. They do have a cheaper, yearly subscription but if I’m going to invest that much time into organizing recipes, I want to own it completely. The lifetime price has apparently gone from 24.99 to 31.99 a month ago (according to their Facebook page) to now 39.99 which just seems excessive. Hopefully in the future they will offer a cheaper lifetime package for people who only want to type in the recipe and include one picture. Not everyone is going to be taking a bunch of screenshots and using multiple high res photos. Wish I had found this app before the price shot up.

OrganizEat is the best app ever! I am able to use my wonderful recipes no matter what state I am traveling to and no cookbooks and recipe files/cards to carry with me! I have already recommended this app to many and they all love it too! Keep up the good work!
