Scholly takes the hassle out of the scholarship search process so you can focus on what’s important—getting free money for school. We have helped students win over $100 million in scholarships so far, making college affordable and dreams a reality. Scholly was created by Christopher Gray, who won $1.3 million in college scholarships through grit, sweat, and hustle. In realizing how broken and time-consuming the scholarship search process was, he created Scholly Search to make things much easier. How does Scholly make it easy? * Customized Scholarship Search: Get matched with scholarships for college and graduate school tailored just to you. * Scholly Scores: Review and choose the best scholarships to apply for based on their Scholly Score. The higher the Scholly Score, the stronger the match—which means better chances at more money! * Easy Scholarship Tracking: Keep track of scholarship deadlines and track your application statuses, all in one place. * Mobile & Desktop Access: Access scholarship opportunities anywhere, on the go, on all of your devices. The best part is that with a Scholly membership, you’ll receive access to ALL of the amazing tools we offer to help students, including Scholly Editor, an AI-powered writing assistant, and Scholly Math, an AI-powered math solver that instantly interprets and provides step-by-step solutions to any math problem. Scholly Search costs $4.99/month or $44.99/year. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. You will not be charged during your free trial period. When the free trial ends, your iTunes account will be charged for the annual subscription of $44.99. To avoid that, you must cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before it expires. Manage your subscriptions in your iTunes Account Settings. Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to Scholly. Membership automatically renews ($4.99 for monthly and $44.99 for annual) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. The account will be charged ($4.99 for monthly and $44.99 for annual) for renewal within 24-hours before the end of the current period. Terms of Use:

  • Matching issues

The app constantly matches me with scholarships I am not eligible based on my grade level. I am a high school senior and the only scholarships I’ve been matched with are ones for students already in college.

I was recommended this app by an uncle and cousin who used it years ago. I made my account excited to find scholarships and filled out all the qualifications for them to find the best match scholarships for me. After spending about 15 minutes scrolling through the long list with repetitive qualifiers so that Scholly could figure out who I am I finally got matched. I was extremely disappointed to find that there was only 3 I matched that didn’t meet my qualifications and were basically lottery scholarships that only one person could win and required you to put in a substantial amount of work. After I cleared those scholarships because they were lottery machines that didn’t match my qualifications I expected for more scholarships to pop up but they didn’t. When I went to my dashboard and hit scholarships I was directed to a pay wall expecting me to whip out my card and pay them a subscription (yes not a lifetime access that you can use the main purpose of this app) for work they haven’t done. And I repeatedly tried to find scholarships to then get directed to the pay wall again and again and they didn’t even offer me the cheapest one but the annual expensive one. Y’all scholarships are supposed to give you money for college. Don’t pay these people to hand you lottery style scholarships that don’t match you. Your better off just going to your preferred colleges website and seeing what scholarships they can provide or searching around on the internet. After spending about 30 minutes on the app I uninstalled it just as quickly.

I can barely afford college and you expect me to pay for an app to help me pay for college? Makes no sense.

Don’t bother downloading. They’ll charge you $50, and even if you cancel the subscription right after you realize they’ve charged you, they refuse to refund it.
  • Why is there a fee to use this?

Why would the app developers make this a paid service? Students can barely afford tuition on top of book fees, rent fees, etc. The whole point of a scholarship is help students who can’t afford school. Seem super counter-intuitive to place a price on that. Honestly, this is just a way to make money off of low income students and that’s the lowest business idea. Sure, the service provided is convenient but honestly if you put the work in to look up things you’ll be able to find these scholarships on your own. Anyways, super disappointed in this app and the people behind in for targeting such a vulnerable group who barely have enough money to even afford school.
  • No grandfathering

Hello, I like many people actually brought this app before it turned into a subscription based service and got no notification that I would not be able to access the features I previously purchased. Because of that I can’t recommend this any longer.

I would’ve liked a clear explanation that the scholarship search tool was only available to those with a paid description BEFORE I input all of my personal information.
  • Waste of money! Don’t do it

The app is free but you have to pay a monthly or annual fee to view scholarships. Not worth it!
  • Not very useful

I didn’t find scholly to be much help at all. I was constantly matched with scholarship opportunities that I wasn’t qualified for and often found that the scholarships found were never over 5,000. It’s a hassle to work with. The only silver lining is that they have a new writing help to guide your work and catch mistakes, almost like a grammarly type thing. I recommend that you get it for one month and apply to as many scholarships as you can find and stop using the services. I’m not that happy with my experience to be honest.
