    9 times out of 10 when I begin to log sets or finish exercises or progress through the app at all, the app freeze for long periods of time.

    This started with bugs in syncing with but the sync issues seem largely resolved and it’s a near seamless experience with Apple Watch now. What makes this great, though, is it recommends workouts for you based on fitness level, goal, and available equipment wherever you are, so I can just plug and play, which others don’t do. My only gripe now is that the “smart” suggestions for exercises when you have a professional gym are not that effective. Programmers could get more human expertise to inform the program on the right exercises. So, if you are knowledgeable about weights, you might be better off manually creating your workouts.

    It’s 2019 and everyone wants a bigger butt... only probably is that there isn’t many glute exercises available. I love this app so much, I purchased the yearly subscription... but I wish I saw the list of glute exercises before I purchased the yearly subscription. 🤦🏻‍♀️

    Great app and I’d give it a higher rating if it would sync with other fitness trackers (i.e. Garmin Watch) or other applications (i.e. UA Record, MyFitnessPal, etc).

    This app honestly adds a good 15 minutes to my workout because of how much it crashes. I have over 300 workouts logged with this app. And I also have a Apple Watch Series 4 and Apple XS Max. It constantly lags and resets all the time! And it makes me made for how the cardio requests me to do 48 min of stair master after working out for 2 hours of weight lifting. No dude. And also, it doesn’t have walking or swimming in the cardio. Super upset everyday with how many bugs there are.

    I’m someone who knows the importance of working out and have within the past year really wanted to get into strength training and weight lifting. Having had been a member at orangetheory fitness, I loved getting to do all the work while having the hard part of creating a routine taken off my shoulders. With fitbod I find I get the same satisfaction at a much more reasonable price. Seriously such a helpful app for whatever your fitness goals may be!!!!
  • Great app but could use a couple improvements

    I really like this app for putting together workouts. I'm a reasonably experienced gym goer and I'm super busy in my day to day life, so having an app put together exercises for me is a great time saver and I never have difficulty understanding the exercises it gives. This app is off to a great start. A couple of things I would love to see: 1. Better options for warm ups. Even experienced athletes know that warming up is essential, and it would be great to get warmups specifically designed to prep you for that days program. 2. Active rest day programs. A set of "easier" or "light" exercises would be awesome to use on recovery days. 3. Ability to set up programs or limit exercises based on injuries. It would be awesome if you were able to specify that you have, for example, a shoulder injury and have the app filter exercises to exclude ones that should be avoided for the given injury. Overall, great app, but would love to see the above features implemented!
