I like the app a lot, but there are a few problems. First, it says I am playing the wrong keys but I wasn’t. Next, the tempo is too fast for my hands to catch up because sometimes I go slower then I’m supposed to. Last but not least, I feel like when I’m playing it it tells me to do something and when I do, it says I’m not. All in all, it is not a bad app. On the bright side, you can learn to play piano without paying lots of money. But if anyone in your family can play piano, you can ask them to teach you. Like my brother taught me to play “ Bad Romance“ by lady gaga. And how my cousin taught me to play “ Joy to the world“ . But I somehow managed to teach myself “happy birthday“. I think if you want to play piano, you should get someone you know to teach you.
  • Excellent Learning Tool

This is a very useful tool. I want to learn piano, but do not have time in my life for formal lessons. This application allows me to learn from home, while working at my own pace. The annual fee is reasonable and the family plan is a nice addition. The new Beta Play feature is great! Perhaps incorporating a print option for the pieces in this section would be a nice addition, allowing for the use of sheet music. On a few occasions I provided feedback, and I found the support department so very responsive. The company is willing to entertain suggestions and modifications are ongoing. If you send an email, someone always responds. Keep up the good work! I am enjoy having music in my life!
  • I’m willing to pay..

    By Mr.Spencer.!
I’m happy it let me down load for free and I’ve learned a lot of the basics.. Didn’t hassle about payment in the beginning because honestly I would of deleted as soon as it asked.. and I never write a review about something yet along rate something.. I really like this app also I really want to learn how to play and the short clips they show you the basics tips.. I really appreciate it.. so I’m willing to pay to learn more but ima get through the basics first.. I’m sure as I go on they gonna want some money eventually lol so it’s cool hopefully it’s not a arm and a leg.. But it works well with a keyboard or a piano so good luck to all you fellow pianist.. Well haven’t earned the title but I want it.. Good luck lol

  • Not At All What Was Advertised

    By kgirlroblox
I got the app after seeing a commercial to learn new songs to play on the piano, only to find out I have to pay for them. Then, I took the short lessons they offer. After five notes, you have to pay for the app. Not at all worth it, don’t waste your time or money. It truly was false advertising at its best.
  • Other music playing along with me

  • Crashes too often to justify the subscription cost.

    By macsphil
I tried the one week trial, and for the most part, this is a GREAT app. The lessons were engaging and building slowly, and it easily allowed me to connect my midi keyboard and play along directly through the app (another app I tried allowed the connection but didn't play any sounds as you played). However, the app is slow to load, and it crashes my iPad at least once per session, which to me is unacceptable given their subscription price and model. If they could fix the software crashes, I would gladly purchase the annual subscription plan.
  • Unfairness

When I got this app i was very happy cause it provided wonderful lessons. Although once I got to the end of the free trial “which I didn’t know I was on” I was disappointed that you have to pay to continue learning. I believe that it is unfair to be a little kid for example and have to stop using the app because your parents refuse to pay. Lastly I believe that it is very unfair you don’t even get told that you have to pay until you get to the end of the trial.
  • Generously giving 1 star

This app is great and all, but I had trouble with playing it on my keyboard but most of the notes wouldn’t appear on the screen. And I kept missing them. I played as loud as my keyboard could go, but it still wouldn’t hear it.
