About this app
Yapfast is a lightweight, native Discord client built in Rust designed to replace the resource-heavy official Discord application. By ditching the Electron/Chromium browser engine, Yapfast runs natively—using only around 40 MB of RAM instead of 800 MB—and opens almost instantly. It connects directly to Discord's API and draws its own window using Slint and Skia. Features include servers, DMs, friends, voice calls, and GIFs. Please note that third-party clients technically violate Discord's Terms of Service, though bans for normal usage are rare.
