Octet Draw is a free, open-source chemical drawing application available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. It allows chemists and researchers to draw molecular structures, reactions, arrows, shapes, and text using standard keyboard shortcuts. The app works entirely offline and fully supports opening and saving ChemDraw files (CDXML and CDX), as well as importing and exporting MOL, SDF, SMILES, and InChI formats. It also features PDF, SVG, and PNG exporting, name-to-structure and structure-to-name conversion, and NMR shift prediction.
