About this app
Hob is a free, open-source desktop application designed to make running local AI models on your own computer as simple as using cloud-based services like Claude or ChatGPT. It runs completely offline to ensure full privacy, automatically picking and configuring the best open-weight models that fit your computer hardware. Users can leverage Hob to work through complex documents, fill out PDFs, analyze spreadsheets, and perform everyday AI tasks without sending data to external servers. Pre-built installers are available for Mac, Windows, and Linux.
