Nevertheless the constant pimping of the overpriced paid features is rather an annoyance. Now an advertisement masquerading as an update. Figures.
  • I am in control

The newest version of Glucose Buddy put me back in control of my diabetes and my diet. The app has a full menu of foods and their nutritional values from both generic and commercial (grocery and restaurants) vendors. You can even enter your favorite recipes but I have yet to test that out. Most amazingly, it calculates an estimate of one’s A1C score based on your blood glucose values. It was within .3 points of the actual A1C level from my doctor 2 weeks ago. This has given me the motivation to take control of my BS levels and diet. I am logging everything I eat as well as my BS and have finally started to lose weight, even with the temptations of the Christmas candies and cookies.
