  • UPDATE #2-Can’t Schedule a Ride

    1/23/18: The car icon in the “where to?” Bar has disappeared again!!!! WTH!! Can’t schedule a ride..AGAIN!!! Why don’t you put the selection in the “Upcoming Rides” tab already-it only makes sense since the app seems to not like being in the “Where To?” bar 😡😡😡😡 1/22/18: The icon to schedule a ride fora future time is now present in the all. Not sure if it is a regional thing or because I got a new phone but now it’s present and I can rest easy knowing I can backwards-plan with ease 😊 I’ve been trying dearly to update and uninstall the app and there is no “vehicle icon” to schedule a ride for future travel. Very frustrating

    Every time I put in my location the gps never takes the driver to the correct place. I have to call the and it ends up becoming a huge hassle. Just recently I was getting picked up from work I walked outside and the driver canceled on me and I had to wait again for another ride. This is getting ridiculous and I probably won’t be using this app for much longer.
  • No customer service, period.

    Both mine and my wife’s accounts don’t work. We have set up separate accounts with different credit cards and we both can’t order an Uber! It doesn’t show you that there is something wrong with your account until you actually oder a car! So you are standing on a street in a different city, and hoping to order a ride, the app tells right at the moment when you press to order a car “UPS, SOMETHING WENT WRONG” No explanation what and how to resolve the problem. You go to help portion of the app any there is no way to talk anyone! Just scripted questions and answers, which help nothing to resolve the issue. Even when you send an email with your problem, all you get a scripted answer, which doesn’t help, and that’s it! So you finally send a second email, telling them that it didn’t resolve the issue, just to get the same answer, which was copies and pasted by a next employee. Both me and my wife have exactly the same experience and problems. Neither of our accounts work and we can’t get them to work and the there is no one to help. I have never found any company, app or program where customer service is set up so poorly! For a company as large as UBER, there is no excuse. They get ONE Star until they clean up your act! New customers, be warned!

    First of all I want to say my ride to work was highly satisfactory. The problem came when I tried to request a ride home after working a 12 hour shift. I put in on the Uber app where I wanted to go & was told there were no Uber vehicles available. I kept requesting any vehicle was fine. I just wanted to get home as I was coming back to work 16 hrs in morning. Again I requested got the bar up saying no Uber’s are available now. This was 11:30 pm. Ended up taking a cab home. Triple what Uber had cost earlier. That was money I was not counting on spending.

    I wish Uber would send a text message when your driver arrives. Lyft sends a text message when your driver arrives and Uber should do the same.

    First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it won't cost you a thing!!! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. Who even needs a car anymore? It’s becoming more and more pointless to own a car these days. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away.

    Uber baits clients into hiring their services with fake time estimations, sometimes even by a difference of a whole hour of travel time. Embarrassing to place trust on such a fiendish company, suckering in innocent users. Shame on you uber and your developers for lying. Some of us have emergencies to attend to and we count on you! Terrible service to your clientele. Your reply to this review simply excuses you as if all these LIES were normal. Your reply shows how much of a tool to money you are versus actually being truthful to your clientele. Your ETA's are always off by an hour, nothing but lies! I have used your system enough to get sick of it. Eat your lies full of shame and reply with a proper response that isn't some stupid excuse allowing you to continue to perpetrate and push these lies to your clientele. Shame on you. Emergencies are real! Also, multiple reviews of your app are IDENTICAL and only there to promote coupon codes. Not only are you liars but also scammers by using every possible technique to lure more customers with fake promises and fake reviews. Like I said, nothing but lies and more lies. Uber is trash.
