  • Good but ruined by constant premium version ads

    The review title says it all - a good app that has been ruined by constant ads for the premium version. I would actually buy the premium version if it were a reasonable price ($5 to $10) but they want me to subscribe as if this were cable TV for a much higher price. Is LoseIt serious?

    This app. does what it's intended to- track what you eat. If your honest and you have a goal, it works. Large database of foods makes logging meals easy. Few very very minor annoyances that I'm sure if I paid for the annual subscription would be cleared. For what it's worth this app. is great. I give it 5 stars because if there is a question or a suggestion for/with user interface you get a very prompt reply (via email) from a REAL LIVE HUMAN BEING!!! (Hard to come by these days)

    This app helped me not only count calories but determine eating habits. When you can really count the calories every calorie matters. Your choices change and when your choices change you change. You change what you eat and how much.

    I love this app! It makes it super easy to stick to my diet. I can pretty much eat whatever I want as long as I stick within my daily caloric intake. It’s fantastic. This is the first diet that my wife and I have been able to stick to. It’s awesome!!!
  • Broken. Too much user maintenance.

    Updates break sync with FitBit. Lots of hassle to address. Detracts from reasons I have for premium subscription. Question the value of this app when there are many other good options. At this point cannot recommend app.

    My husband and I have used Lose It for about 5 years, and it’s been working well until recently. Now, every time we open the app to log our meals, the update screen runs. It’s very annoying. Using the app was an eye opening experience, and helped us lose weight. We were big fans.

    Good app overall, would be great if they had more detailed options as far as going into more detail with carbs and exercise. So far it has done a good job with helping me keep track of meals, snacks, calories, and even workouts.

    It’s a great system to track your goals and progress!!! They don’t spam you with the notifications. When they do send you a notification it’s very nice! This app has made it easier to get fit and stay healthy.
