Same old money pit, different title, different day. It relies more on pay to play, and chance than actually skill. I prefer a game that fits into my life. This game requires my life to revolve around the game. I don't like setting an alarm to participate in group effort event( main alliance feature) that is not set by players. A lot of us don't live in the same country, much less time zone. I truly don't like spending real money and NOT GETTING the avatar I wish to purchase.

Just got this Jan. 31. Have to have WiFi on to play. Don’t have where I live. Now I’m angry!!!!! Really liked it. Bye bye empire. Please come up with one that doesn’t need WiFi and data use up.
  • Don’t even bother playing

Extremely pay to win now. They literally scaled back the damage you do in raids to make you want to pay more. I can’t recommend this game when their are plenty of better games out there that don’t take as much time and don’t have sheisty practices.

This game has potential. But for brand new players, unless you want to shell out a lot of money, you’re going to be hurting for a while until you can train rare or epic heroes in your buildings. Let’s start with the battle mechanics. If you are facing opponents that are primarily one color, you will get minimal matches of the color they are weak against. Not a biggie, got it. Add to that that you will have an overwhelming majority of the colors they are strong against and it’s a frustrating fight. Top it off with the opponent’s special ability bars filling up 200% faster than your character’s bars, your characters will drop like flies before of have put much of a dent into their ranks. As to “raids” where you are taking on another player’s defensive team, take the battle mechanics above and add a hugely lopsided trophy system into things. Our teams have a power rating equal to the power of all your characters on it. In a raid, you use food to search for an opponent. Let’s say your team has a rating of 2000; a vast majority of opponents that pop up will be 2500-4000, which you have zero chance of defeating. In the extremely-rare event you should win, you would pull maybe 20 trophies but a loss would take between 15-25 from you. Now, in the case you would find a 1500-2000 opponent, a win would net you 10-15 trophies but a loss would cough up 45-50 trophies. AND the opponent has the battle mechanics working for them and you will not get matches to take out their characters. What takes you 50 attacks to gain, you lose in 2 losses. Recently, alliance wars have been added to the mix. If you figure the odds are against you for everything else, just wait. Not only will your alliance regularly be pitted against far superior alliances, the defending player has an “arrow defense” that automatically fires off every so many plays, 5 I believe. This thing takes 25% of your all of your characters’ life each time. You also can only attack with each of your characters once; if you don’t have a deep roster, you only get a couple attacks & you’re tapped. Alliance wars are extremely stacked against you until you have a strong, multi-team team, which either long, long grinding or paying out will get you. For wars and titan fights, the awards presented for winning are paltry. To upgrade your troops to the next rank, getting the materials needed take an act of God. Being victorious seems like you lost, but there is a good thing about this game. You get gems pretty much all the time. Usually it’s just 1-5 at a pop, but you get the currency you would have to pay to get, for free! Save it up and you get the rarer summons. You may keep getting the same character over and over again and you may never see an epic or legendary character, but you put nothing into it.
  • Awsome Game

First all, I do not usually finish any game that I have started, but just play to keep your momentum going and something new pops around the corner once in a while. One thought though that would be nice to have. The more you play the more you expand your land and build more buildings to increase your supply. Would be nice to have a “Collect All” button when pressed to collect all your resources. Even if this is a “IAP” to have a button, I would consider purchasing just to save time. Thank You developers for having a game that keeps me coming back for more and more.
