  • A Good Game Conceptually Ruined

I have been playing the game on and off since it’s release and have found it to be at times a wonderful experience: A real-time strategy game with many different available methods and deck builds. With the wide variety available to players, decks of all sorts were seen in the early stages of the game, and while over leveled or overpowered cards and “pay to play” players could be frustrating, they didn’t really ruin the game due to balancing updates and rank balancing with new higher arenas. The issue that has been highlighted by a recent meta combo (miner/poison with primarily defensive cards for the rest of he deck) is that the ability of decks geared on placing damage directly on towers without pushing are ruining the strategic element of the game. Regardless of how powerful some pushes may be, there has always been the ability to counter a push with the right cards, and even begin a counter push with the leftovers. That is what made the game so great in the beginning: The objective was to outbuild your opponent in a series of pushes and counter pushes. These new meta decks, on the other hand, are much more difficult to counter, if it is even possible to do so. A well placed miner will always get hits on a crown tower unless a player is able to bait it by placing a troop onto where it spawns (which is difficult to predict), by using a rocket to instantly kill it (which is an extremely negative elixir trade), or by freezing it and using some other spell or troop to kill it before it unfreezes (again, an extremely negative trade). Because of the minute damage it deals, one might assume that it could be beaten by out pushing the other side and ignoring the miner, but seeing as defending can be much easier than pushing (when defending, the crown tower’s damage is helpful, and the defender can choose to place his counters at any time to get the maximum effect out of them), a decently built deck could counter most if not all pushes from getting a single hit on the crown tower, meanwhile the miner has chipped a decent amount from the attacker’s tower. Using builds like this, the game turns into miners or other spells hitting unpreventable on towers while pushes are thrown out of the picture by decent defense. The entire concept of the push-counter push style of the game is rapidly diminishing to the seemingly unstoppable mechanics of skipping the push and putting damage directly on crown towers. I would like to note that I also slightly dislike that there are a cycle of “meta” decks that during their reign are extremely powerful, but for the most part (before the miner meta) they at least follow the concept of the game, so I have no real argument against them aside from the fact that they take an ounce of creativity out of deck building at times.
  • Best Game Ever

Hey Supercell this is a good game but it has some flaws you should put a Option for when we need to buy something like we could use gems or gold
  • Cool

  • Please remove the lame taunting feature

    By Tyler0628
Some people on here constantly use these stupid faces to constantly taunt or distract you. Yes you can mute it, but you have to remember for every battle. Just let us permanently turn it off if we want to so we don’t have to do it every time. It’s a terrible childish feature.

    I can’t lie I love it
  • Solid game, Few minor downfalls

    By guy nobody knows
I’ve been playing this game since summer of 2016 and since then I’ve enjoyed it just as much as when I first got it. Overall it’s a fun game that has a few minor downfalls. Now these downfalls don’t ruin the game or anything close to that but if they fixed these the game would be much better. First of all the cancel button is pretty much useless, I would push the cancel button and 5 seconds later it loads me into a battle. A functional cancel button would be nice to have. Secondly it takes ages to upgrade cards at higher level, especially anything that’s a “rare” card or rarer. It took me 4 months just to get my three musketeers to level 10. And lastly the one that actually irritates me a bit and it’s the matchmaking. I am level 11 in league 2(almost got to three) and almost every time I battle I face a level 12 player with at least 4 maxed out cards in their deck. I don’t even have one card in my deck maxed out and it’s really annoying to know your opponents have an automatic advantage and there’s not a whole lot you can do about it. When your cards are really under level and it’s takes ages to upgrade them that also annoys me a lot and kind of brings the game down for me. With that I think the game is still a good game, especially for a free one. And unlike some people I don’t think this game is pay to win. You just need to get good at it and take time to upgrade your deck. I hope supercell reads this and tweaks their game to make it better. Thanks
  • A IMPORTANT Suggestion!!!!!!!!!!

    By Ltlickme54
This may not be a big part of the game but if we can have endless name changes and of course they have to be appropriate but if someone doesn’t follow that rule they are banned from this.
